How to get an appointment

You register with the test centre itself, not with us. Ask the centre for the next date. Which centre is responsible for you is decided by the Einbürgerungsbehörde, the naturalisation office of your town or district. Bring a valid photo ID to the appointment.

What the test costs

The test costs €25 per attempt, in Leipzig as everywhere in Germany. You can retake it as often as you want. Every attempt needs its own registration and the €25 again.

The test in Saxony

The Einbürgerungstest has 33 questions and you get 60 minutes. Each question has four answers and one of them is right. 30 questions are the same everywhere in Germany. The other 3 come from the 10 questions about Saxony. For naturalisation you need 17 correct answers. If you sit the test to finish an integration course, 15 is enough.
