Einbürgerungstest: questions and answers as a PDF?
Short, honest answer: Klartest is not a PDF download. The official questions are public, and lists with all questions and answers exist in plenty of places. If that's exactly what you're after, you'll find it there.
But before you print 460 questions, a quick reality check: a PDF shows you which letter is correct. It doesn't explain why, or what the question is actually asking of you.
Where a PDF falls short
The test is in German, and many people struggle with questions not for lack of knowledge but because of single words: what does Verfassungsorgan mean? What does Koalition mean here? A question list will not explain that. You end up memorising answer letters instead of understanding the content. That may be enough to pass, but you will not really understand what you are answering, and you will not feel confident on test day.
There is also this: of the 460 questions in the catalogue, 310 matter for you: the 300 federal questions plus the 10 for your Bundesland. On paper, you have to sort that out yourself.
What Klartest does instead
With Klartest you practise the same official questions interactively. Every question is explained: what's being asked, why the answer is correct, which words matter. All in your language.
Each practice test is put together fresh and gives more weight to the categories you find difficult. And when you are ready, take the exam simulation: 33 questions, 60 minutes, just like on test day.
Try it before you decide
Your first practice test is free, no credit card required. If you would still rather work through a PDF afterwards, that is fine too. But after one attempt, most people see why explained questions sink in faster than a list.
Frequently asked questions
Are the official questions available as a PDF?
Yes, the official questions are public and available as a list. But a list only shows you which answer is correct, not why. That is exactly where Klartest comes in.
Can I download or print the Klartest questions?
No. Klartest is deliberately interactive: explanations in your language, practice tests that adapt to your mistakes, and an exam simulation. None of that works on paper.
Is a PDF enough to pass?
It can be, plenty of people pass with a question list. The real question is how much time that takes and whether you understand what you are answering. With explanations, you learn faster and go into the exam more confident.
